Chef Carla Sinteff has worked as an executive chef for the past 7 years and has been in the industry for 15 years. She established herself as an executive chef after attending Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte.

She served as the Executive Chef of The String Bean in Belmont, NC and won many accolades from customers.. She moved to Sales at Dean & Deluca South Park-and served for four years setting sales records in the catering department.] Carla then accepted a challenge at Five & Dine in Rock Hill, SC, as the Executive Chef and GM.

Chef Sinteff has been cooking since she could reach the stove and her dream has always been to have her own business. Sprouts Cafe is the realization of that dream. As Chef Carla Sinteff she is now able to create her menu and manage as her creativity guides her. She is extremely outgoing and takes a genuine interest in the lives of others.

She he was born on March 13, 1987 in Charlotte, North Carolina. Her husband,  Joshua Sinteff, is a mechanic. They reside in Fort Mill, South Carolina with three dogs they call their children, two of which are rescues. Carla and Joshua enjoy outdoors, sports and adventures together.

She is inspired by foodie parents Wayne and Shirley, who support and follow her in all life adventures. She is grateful for a wonderful family and all the support along with it

Her passion is cooking.  Just ask her to show you the subtle tattoo she has on her forearm.  Carla has great plans for Sprouts Cafe including special “Chef’s Table” nights and outside entertainment on those beautiful Carolina Spring, Summer and Fall evenings.

We Think Out Of The Box!

We love our current menu!  But every once in a while we like to offer our friends something a little special.  This might be in one of our “After Hour” events or as a daily special.  We love surprising you.

Hot & Spicy Oyster Poboy

This zinger was pure fun…to make and to eat.  Our fishmonger gave us a lead on some high quality Carolina Oysters at a great price.  We couldn’t pass up the opportunity to throw our clients a Sprouts’ curve ball.   It proved to be a real home run.

Crab Cake Sandwich

When we offer this special it’s a sellout.   Sweet crab cakes on a brioche bun with fresh veggies and a kicker sauce.  It’s the same gluten free crab cake we use in our popular Crab Cake Benedict.

Shrimp ‘n Grits

This is one of our best sellers.. Sauteed White Shrimp with Red Peppers, Onion in a Cajun Cream Sauce over Stone Ground White Parmesan Grits.  This will get and keep your day going.

Duck Confit and Mushroom Flatbread

Every once in a while a little FAT is good for you.  Confit brings a deep richness and incredible flavor to the duck.  This special was a sellout and we expect to offer it again.

Josh Wine Dinner Reflection

Our first wine dinner was dedicated to my wonderful husband, Josh, who has been by my side supporting my dream for the last 5 months. I wouldn’t have been able to do this without him.
