After Hours

Next event will be May 31st featuring wines from Childress Winery in North Carolina.

You’re invited to a culinary experience…

Once each month  Chef Carla and her team offer a unique five course dinner.  Each course…from salad to dessert… is carefully planned and paired with a selection of wines from a variety of wine vendors.  It’s an after hours event featuring items not offered on our typical menu but comparable to the cuisine of fine restaurants in the vast Charlotte metropolitan area.

Guests are served each course with a description of the entree.  Representatives from vineyards and distributors join us to share background of each wine and why it was paired with the entree.  Guests are also given an opportunity to order bottles of each wine at prices well below retail rates.

Scroll down for the date of the next event, menu, and reservation form .  We’ll also tell you a little bit about the winery to be featured in that event and how those wines will be paired with our five courses.

We look forward to seeing you at our next five course dinner event on Thursday, May 31st.

Championship race teams and fine wines are two passions of NASCAR team owner Richard Childress. Childress Vineyards is setting the pace among the wineries on the East Coast using old-world production techniques to craft award-winning wines by Winemaker Mark Friszolowski.

Located at the southern gateway to the Yadkin Valley in Lexington, NC, Childress Vineyards has been named to the list of Top 25 Tasting Rooms in America by Wine Enthusiast magazine and is a four-time recipient of the NC Governor¹s Cup award for the wine competition¹s Best in Show. The winery is open daily for tours, tastings, and lunch in the Bistro. The winery is available for private party rentals and weddings

By opening the doors to Childress Vineyards in 2004, NASCAR team owner Richard Childress fulfilled a longtime dream that grew from the days when he first began racing in California and visited wineries with friends. What began as camaraderie and good times soon became an engaging passion for world-class wines and then the vision to build a world-class winery.
